Under ‘curfew’

The first night of the curfew against Coronavirus saw the nation gradually fall into silence after time had passed 10 pm

Gradually, checkpoints were set up in towns and on highways connecting provinces. People then rushed back to their residences as they learned about the newly introduced curfew, which would allow them to roam around only until 10 pm.

Subways and skytrains announced they would soon cease their operations at 9.30 pm, and by then they slowly parked one by one as passengers almost got back home.

Roads were almost empty. Shops were closed. And by then almost all of the places fell… into silence, on Friday’s night of April 3, 2020.
